Introductory chapter including the presentation of the objectives for the year through the typical portrait of the manager in the tourism industry. The skills required, the development of a manager, the major questions to be addressed during a case study, the objectives, expectations, the behavior of the manager, the analysis and concrete proposals for a commercial action plan, an example of a subject, possible answers or methods to achieve them, the main characteristics of operationality in the field of tourism, sustainable tourism, business tourism, MICE...
