Abstract: The literature on management tools has developed considerably but only recently. There have long been debates about whether management tools should be seen as a means of prescribing behavior or as supports for action. To define the roles of a digital platform that allows youth and professionals to meet, we conducted exploratory qualitative research. Five roles are identified. We also identify the risk of confusing three levels of analysis in our research: the object, the subject and the uses.
