Abstract:
The successive Turkish governments since the 2000s, although candidates for EU membership, have not hidden their desire to develop Turkey's economic exchanges with neighboring countries which were formerly part of the Ottoman Empire. Which does not fail to be interpreted in Europe as a "neo-Ottoman" policy. What are the relevance and limits of the "neo-Ottoman" concept in the interpretation of the new Turkish diplomacy in the economic field?
