Abstract:
This study analyzes the decision-making mechanisms of Local Action Groups (LAGs) within the LEADER program in France between 2020 and 2024. By evaluating decision-making procedures, project selection tools, and interactions with project promoters, the research highlights the necessity for LEADER to adopt a systemic approach. This involves redefining the uniqueness of each project, questioning established practices, integrating learned lessons, and thoroughly exploring different aspects of the process to ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders.
