Abstract: The poster explores the challenges posed by generative artificial intelligence (AI) systems to digital service companies, focusing on their strategic adaptation and individual adoption processes. Grounded in a critical realist epistemology, the research adopts a mixed-method approach combining qualitative and quantitative data. It examines organizational dynamics through the lens of dynamic capabilities theory and individual adoption using the UTAUT framework. The study seeks to understand how companies sense, seize, and transform resources to adapt to AI-driven changes. This interdisciplinary work combines strategic management concepts, empirical data, and programming skills to deliver actionable insights into the integration of generative AI in business contexts.
