Abstract:
This conference was organized in response to a request from INRAE's PHASE department, which held a seminar in February 2024 on "Greenhouse gas emissions and sequestration linked to livestock farming systems". From an economic point of view, this conference addressed several complementary issues, on different geographical scales (World, EU and France): i) the dairy market; ii) the meat market (beef, pork and poultry); reasons to believe and challenges to be met by the French sectors.
