Abstract:
This study looks at employees' freedom of expression and managerial standardization. It puts into perspective two dimensions, that of law and that of sociology. It focuses on the recent "Fun &Pro" case, in which a company was found guilty of dismissing an employee-manager who had rejected the organization's deviant culture. Considering the legal evolution of this case, its sociological significance is highlighted: between freedom of expression and the subordination of employees, companies are likely to be encouraged to increase managerial standardization.
