Abstract: This article aims at questioning in what extent the statute of the SCIC (Collective Interest Cooperative Company) enables the stakeholders to be in the situation of equality -exceeding the equity principle - within the framework of the governance. On the basis of the stakeholders' theory, this paper takes root empirically on the case of SCIC Enercoop, the renewable energy sources distribution. The outcomes confirm the equity principle which is embodied through a multidimensional creation of value, meeting the expectations of the stakeholders – colleagues. On the other hand, the recognition and the conditions of equality within this governance will be discussed on a qualitative and quantitative plan. Although the statute explicitly suggests this equality, however, this research points out that this is not obvious.
