Abstract: In the current economic context and accelerated digitalization, convenience stores have been asking themselves how best to keep their business going. This exploratory study focuses on the impact of digital transformation on the business model (BM) and customer relations of local shops. The results of stores' owners' interviews provide managers and researchers with avenues for understanding, developing, and supporting digitalization in the very specific context of convenience stores.
