Abstract:
This article focuses on the impact of the cognitive proximity of stakeholders on social responsibility, particularly in a high school in the district of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes. The school canteen served as a framework for experimentation and the methodology used is participant observation. This is supplemented by a questionnaire administered to students and other stakeholders. Our results show that the cognitive proximity of stakeholders makes it possible to reduce hidden costs, decreases social tensions between stakeholders and makes it possible to drive individually and collectively responsible changes from within an organization.
