Abstract:
This article identifies the conditions for integrating the manager-coach function within an organization. The theoretical framework, derived from organization theory, is based on contingency and the systemic conception of the company. Interviews with manager-coaches and executives reveal a deliberate choice on the part of management, a strategic positioning, and informed practices resulting from a specific organizational learning process.
