Abstract: in last decades, numerous health care organizations have adopted risk management as adevice to mitigate and avoid unwanted events. A performant risk management requires an effective riskassessment in order to predict criticalities of associated risks. Several tools are used to ensure riskassessment in health care. One of the most adopted methods to assess risks is the Failure Modes andEffects Analysis (FMEA) method. In this paper, we propose to use this method in a fuzzy logic context, namely fuzzy FMEA. The objective is to assess the health risks in the case of a sterilization unit inMorocco. A comparison between this method and classical FMEA is also presented.
