Abstract:
In this paper we study the obstacles to innovation in France in the light of the features of the innovation processes, and the internal and external context. We show that the main obstacles to innovation are non-technological and we explain this situation by the difficulty to combine technical and commercial competencies in innovation processes. To face this situation, we propose to increase the weight of commercial competencies in innovation processes.
