Abstract: The article focuses on the location of industrial employment in Tunisia over the period 2003-2018. The aim is to highlight the evolution of the concentration of employment in the private manufacturing sector at the level of delegations, and to discuss the effectiveness of the economic policies implemented to reduce geographical inequalities after the revolution of 14 January 2011 and the subsequent Arab Spring. To this end, we propose a spatio-temporal exploratory spatial data approach (ESTDA). The results show the existence of a concentration of employment, which tends to decrease after the revolution. Nevertheless, a strong local clustering of employment is still identified in the coastal region. The results also show that new forms of regional disparities are emerging, mainly between coastal regions rather than between the coast and the interior. This highlights the need to strengthen regional development policies, even in a context of stagnation or low growth in industrial employment
