Abstract: Abstract: This article explores the impact of information governance on the performance of public procurement, focusing on aspects such as transparency, efficiency, corruption prevention, digitalization, and decision-making. By examining existing literature and drawing on international case studies, the article demonstrates that information governance is crucial for improving the management of public procurement. By enhancing transparency, optimizing resources, preventing corruption, and facilitating decision-making, information governance provides a strategic and operational framework for modernizing and making public procurement processes more efficient. However, challenges persist, particularly regarding data protection and information security, underscoring the need for a holistic and integrated approach to information governance.
