Abstract: The EARNet Symposium is a major event in Europe for the presentation and discussion of auditing research. It also provides a forum for academics, practitioners, policy-makers and standard-setters to discuss auditing research and current issues in the auditing environment. The Symposium included parallel sessions of presentation and discussion of research papers, a plenary panel session, and a keynote speech.
