Abstract: Kojève developed, from Hegel, a philosophy of the end of history, understood as a global deployment of a universal state and its homogeneous society. The question is what kind of economy will structure this post-historical world. Kojève's answer is paradoxical: it is "giving" or "Fordian" capitalism. The article explains this pacified vision of capitalism that revisits Marx from Carl Schmitt's triptych "Take, share, graze".
