Abstract:
Health IT Implementation is a major concern for healthcare establishments. Its success presupposes the IT acceptance throughout all dimensions of healthcare system. This research aims: to explore the factors which may affect the acceptance of EHR by Tunisians physicians and to analyse their expectations. Our model of Electronic Health Record (EHR) acceptability is derived from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Questionnaires are administered to physicians and semi-structured qualitative research interviews were carried out, in six hospitals in Tunis and Ben Arous. Modeling by structural equations makes it possible to test the causality relations and to determine keys factors of e-health system.
