Abstract: In the actual context of stretched finances and radical organisational changes, the psychosocial risks, both for frontline staff and managers, have never been so significant. The use of slow management, which involves thinking around the notion of proximity, would help to re-energise and rehumanise the manager-caregiver relationship.
