Abstract:
Based on an action research carried out by the Creg and a trade union, we analyze the process of introducing digital tools for monitoring activity in several services and establishments involved in the field of disability. We focus on the action research approach, what it brings and its challenges, and less on the results themselves. In this perspective, the first part of the article is intended to characterize and situate action research in the academic landscape, highlighting a paradox. In a second part, we characterize the specific contributions of this way of doing research, as processes and results, particularly in terms of collective appropriation and capacity to transform reality.
