Abstract:
This communication proposes an exploratory approach aimed at combining human expertise with the capabilities of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the design of marketing personas. It highlights the presence of two main types of bias (cognitive and algorithmic) which risk distorting the representation of user profiles. The prototype artefact presented, developed in Python with the Gradio interface, calls for a critical dialogue between the human and the machine: the AI model proposes sketches of personas, while the human designer refines the proposals and looks out for any stereotypes. The aim of this approach is to train future managers and designers to think more responsibly, while offering them greater creativity. The educational perspectives focus on raising awareness of the mechanisms of bias and the reflective practice of AI applications. Finally, the text calls for the methodology to be extended and deepened in order to assess its empirical effectiveness, both through research and practical implementation.
