Abstract:
This communication focuses on the role of the appropriation of management tools in the emergence and dynamics of tension regulation in a context of organizational change. We question in particular the nature and methods of managing these tensions at several levels (organizational, work collective and individual) by drawing on the contributions of the theory of public governance tensions (Mazouz et al., 2015) and the theory of appropriative perspectives (Grimand and De Vaujany, 2006; 2012). The analysis is based on a longitudinal and qualitative empirical study within the secondary level of national education in France seven years after the introduction of new teacher evaluation methods.
