Abstract:
The 26th Congress of the Society for Occupational Hygiene and Medicine in the Armed Forces and Armaments Industries (SHMTAIA) took place on October 11 and 12, 2012, in Toulouse, under the patronage of the Minister of Defense. The roles of nurses and ergonomists within the multidisciplinary occupational health team were an important theme of this congress. Internet research, asbestos exposure, radiation protection, addictive practices, and burnout syndrome among caregivers were also discussed.
