Abstract:
As part of an ongoing doctoral research project, the purpose of this paper is to examine the concept of digital eco-design applied to websites from a marketing perspective. After clarifying the concept of digital eco-design applied to websites, the paper describes the methodology that will be used to explore this concept in more depth, to study its different facets and to explore the perceptions of the different stakeholders in the eco-design of websites (i.e. companies, communication agencies, website designers, the state, public authorities and internet users). A series of semi-structured interviews and a content analysis of websites will be used to understand the relationships and perceptions between the stakeholders involved in digital eco-design.
