Abstract: No, the expansion of the production centres feeding the European winter market is not a mirage! Though imperceptible over the past two seasons, it will be more clearly manifested in 2024-25, with nearly all the supplier countries registering a high or significantly increasing export potential. This will help meet the expectations of European consumers whose interest in the avocado remains as strong as ever, in a global context where conversely the US market supply level should be no more than average.
