Abstract: This paper addresses the issues of agility and inclusivity in the context of an international engineering company expanding in the Middle East. A charismatic leader has driven the growth of the regional subsidiary of a quality control company. Transforming the organization towards inclusivity assures the systemic agility of the company while improving the lives of its internal community. The paper studies the capacity of the socio-economic intervention to bring change within the Middle Eastern business culture. The methodology is one of intervention research combining action research and strategic management control. The research found that inclusivity improves agility and quantified the effects of its lack thereof. The research finds proof that the socio-economic intervention provided the methodology and tools to improve the dynamic capabilities of the company, and to integrate the human potential in the organizational system.
