Abstract:
Using the research of Simar and Wilson, this article applies the Bootstrap to the performance scores derived from the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model of MFIs in developing countries. Then, it apprehend the sensitivity of these scores to exogenous shocks particulary the macroeconomics variables. The estimated DEA frontier effectively differentiates between efficient MFIs located on this frontier and inefficient MFIs located below it.
