Abstract: Abstract: This study explores the determinants of entrepreneurial intention among students at the Faculty of Economics and Management (FSEG) of the University of Social Sciences and Management of Bamako (USSGB), in a context of high graduate unemployment in Mali. Drawing on the Theory of Planned Behavior (Ajzen, 1991) and the Shapero and Sokol model (1982), it examines cognitive (attitude, subjective norm, perceived feasibility) and contextual variables (gender, field, residence, training). A survey of 567 students was analyzed using a multinomial logit model distinguishing three career paths: entrepreneurship, private/NGO employment, and public service. Results show that cognitive factors strengthen entrepreneurial intention, while women, non-urban students, and those in non-technical fields tend to prefer salaried employment. Entrepreneurial education improves employability but not necessarily business creation. The study highlights the need for support systems adapted to students' socio-economic realities and career trade-offs.
