Abstract:
The numerization of Information Systems (IS) has raised a few ethical questions in the academic literature. However, this literature belongs to diverse fields (computer ethics, information ethics and business ethics). The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether a new research field in Information Systems Ethics is about to emerge in the IS management literature. A systematic analysis of the literature on IS ethics allows us to identify ethical dilemmas that appeared in the literature during the last thirty years.
