Abstract: This article examines how cooperative internationalization implemented by green SMEs is supported. It is important to explore this topic because cooperation in internationalization has a positive influence on international performance. From an international entrepreneurship perspective, we conducted a qualitative multimethod study comprising 30 interviews and a focus group. The results present innovative support services and fill the knowledge gap on support dedicated to cooperative internationalization. They contribute to international entrepreneurship by showing what green SMEs do with the network ties they build to internationalize and how different purposes of these ties can be supported.
