Abstract:
Healthcare systems account for 4.4% of greenhouse gas emissions. Despite the importance of this issue, little research has been conducted on the subject. Through close collaboration with medical et care staff, the Fablab Hephaïstos contributes significantly to make the hospital more sustainable: socially, by lightening the workload of healthcare professionals; ecologically, by extending the life of certain products; and economically, by offering low-cost innovations.
