Abstract: Three essential components of the business's IT infrastructure are needed to make management information : integrated operational management systems (ERP), decision-making systems (BI), and global communication tools (digital platforms, intranet, internet, artificial intelligence, etc.). These different parts work well together, and their intersection is critical for managing performance. ERP is a basic tool for making sure those manufacturing operations work properly. BI, on the other hand, helps businesses organize, analyze, and understand important data, which gives them strategic information to help them make decisions. The objective of this article is to analyze the deployment of the amalgamation of information and communication system components and their influence on the performance of multinational corporations. It is true that usage cannot be seen as a simple way to check if technical solutions work. Instead, it is the outcome of how individuals utilize various technical objects and devices. The current research aims to do an in-depth investigation of the combined use of ERP and BI to understand the nature of their interaction and its impact on organizational performance. This research utilizes a qualitative methodology through semi-structured interviews with employees of a multinational firm in Morocco. The initial findings indicate a discrepancy between the anticipated outcomes and the actual results. The integration of ERP and BI is crucial for achieving the anticipated performance levels. This study advocates for the ERP/BI integration to be regarded as an autonomous initiative, defined by strategic goal, managerial consideration, and the promotion of organizational transformation.
