Abstract: The concept of space mining has captured the imagination of scientists, entrepreneurs, and politicians. While one goal is to address the impending scarcity of resources on Earth, this project also raises questions and concerns about its potential environmental, ethical, and political implications. Opinions vary, from those who see it as a solution to earthly challenges to those who fear its consequences.
