Abstract:
This article examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Human Resource Management (HRM) practices and analyzes associated risks. Through a narrative synthesis of management science literature, this study explores how AI transforms HR processes, particularly in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. The analysis reveals that AI offers significant advantages, including the automation of repetitive tasks, improved process efficiency, and personalization of employee pathways. However, it identifies major risks such as the illusion of control, algorithmic bias, reduced employee autonomy, and transparency issues. Ultimately, this research emphasizes the necessity of thoughtful AI deployment in HR, stakeholder involvement, and ethical governance to maximize benefits while minimizing risks of dehumanization in HR practices.
