Abstract:
Generating reliable, actionable knowledge from a team experience is a collective skill that has become essential in an increasingly dynamic, complex, and uncertain professional environment. It is acquired and reinforced through After-Action Review, a specific form of collegial situation analysis carried out quickly after the action. This book summarizes the challenges, resources, and scientific foundations of this method, which is used in particular by elite French police units (RAID) and the army (U.S. special forces, Paris Fire Brigade, GIGN). This discipline, thus made accessible, enables the development of collective and reflective learning capable of continuously enriching a team's skills based on its experience.
