Abstract: This paper presents qualitative research on the use of workshop setups in entrepreneurship education programs. Our aim is to understand how the gathering of multidisciplinary participants acts as an active component of a creative process. To do so, both descriptive and interpretive data were collected and analyzed during a multidisciplinary student workshop. In particular, it has been demonstrated that a workshop setup facilitates idea generation. In addition, multidisciplinarity improves the group dynamics and forces the exchange of different points of view, which stimulates idea association and creativity.
