Abstract:
In most countries, the private healthcare sector experiences a strong investment dynamic. Based on an inductive and qualitative analysis conducted in the Algerian context, this article presents an original taxonomy. Focused on the founders of private clinics, it identifies four profiles of entrepreneurs: solo physicians, associate physicians, constrained entrepreneurs, and opportunistic entrepreneurs.
