Abstract: We measure in a new way the wage-earners exploitation in a globalized economy. The Marx's "newly created value" is linked to the net value added of national accounting. We take into account changes occurred since Marx as the increase of the role of the State and the remuneration of the senior executives under the form of salaries. Exploitation entails an international dimension. The profit in dominating countries partly proceeds from abroad (in particular from low-salaries countries). We apply our method to France for 2018
