Abstract:
This article analyses how individual digital determinants are becoming essential prerequisites for guaranteeing access to healthcare, particularly for elderly users. It underlines the importance of digital public health vigilance in the use of digital health technologies, particularly telemedicine, highlighting the risks of marginalisation and the equity issues that can emerge (disruption of care). Rather than focusing solely on the technology itself, this article focuses on the situation in which the technology intervenes, and on the way in which it meets (or fails to meet) the needs of users.
