Abstract: This article examines work from anywhere (WFA), a form of work that allows employees to work remotely while moving between different locations. Drawing on a multi-sited qualitative study of corporate nomads, it shows that this mode of organising relies on forms of ambiguity that sustain coordination despite the absence of a stable framework. The analysis highlights five recurring manifestations of this ambiguity in work practices and experiences. Ambiguity thus appears as a constitutive condition of this organizational transition.
