Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated employees' vulnerability, which has become a major concern both professionally and socially. In this context, a group of researchers focused on addressing the vulnerability of employees in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (France). Researchers worked with committed organizations to understand the origins of employees' vulnerability, acknowledge the importance of addressing it, and assess its impact on managerial innovations. A three-stage process was developed, involving the formalization of representations of vulnerability, awareness of this vulnerability, and potential managerial actions. This approach was tested and confirmed by three different organizations. Thanks to this methodology, the participating companies gained a better understanding of their employees' vulnerability and were able to set up action plans tailored to their structure.
