Abstract: This research analyzes strategic communication appeals in climate fiction(cli-fi) films and their ethical implications for corporate messaging and public climate discourse. Using a mixed-methods approach- manual annotation, NLP, and PCA-based clustering - we examine 60 films to identify recurring strategies like emotional framing, urgency, and identity-based storytelling. These tactics, common in corporate and propagandamessaging, raise ethical questions about persuasion versus manipulation. As cli-fi influences climate perceptions, we call for more ethically aware storytelling across sectors.
