Abstract: Digital accessibility is a pillar of an inclusive society. However, in Switzerland, there is a lack of structures at the regional level to unite actors of different worlds on this topic. Building empirical results showing the lack of regional structuration, we propose a conceptual and operationalizable model of boundary organization around the organizational issue of digital accessibility as a boundary object. We define our model on three levels: organizational, multi- organizational and contextual. At the organizational level, we define the operational problems, the recognized results as well as the production and need of knowledge towards the boundary organization actors. At the multi-organizational level, we identify the epistemological foundation of the structure, the principles in terms of knowledge creation, boundary spanning and problems resolution, as well as the necessity to define an innovation agenda. At the contextual level, we highlight the importance of the regionality of such a structure.
