Richesse et valeur: la contribution des économistes français du début du XIXème siècle
Alain Beraud
Post-Print from HAL
Abstract:
While proposing to measure wealth by its value, Smith opened a long debate in which the french economist defended a position rather different from that of English classics. These efforts led them to question the opposition between exchange value and use value such as Smith conceived it. Thus, a French tradition, certainly quite blurred, takes shape in front of the English classicism.
