Abstract: How managing to preserve in France all at the same time a fertility rate sufficient for its development, a level of increasing employment and restricted unemployment, competitiveness of the economy, social and individual wellbeing, and improvement of the democracy - in particular the equality between men and women? The answer, which is not a challenge, is held on the side of a new contract between the production and the reproduction. What to make as well as possible to adapt the two spheres which are work and family? On this equation depends economic but so social and cultural functioning. Progress, all things considered.
