Abstract: This article is about the internationalization of the computer services industry. We first present the arguments about the growth of internationalisation of services for the years 1980 - 2000. We then discuss the internationalisation of the computer service sector. We built a database from the 35 first firms of the sector covering nine years from 1994 to 2002. We show that, during this period, internationalisation of the main companies of the sector has not been growing up. We express some explanation around a double causality : on one side, difficulties with the offer and on the other, a demand mainly local.
