Abstract:
Title : From a supply policy to a demand management : a hydrous revolution in the Mediterranean area.Abstract : The Mediterranean territory, and particularly its eastern and southern shores, has to face a serious water shortage added to irregular rainfall patterns. In order to overcome this double difficulty, supply policies have been conducted for a long time; but they come up against limits, as well on the technical, economic, geopolitical, political levels, as on the environmental one. Thus, after having massively raised the resource, a second hydraulic revolution, based on the management of the demand, occurs.
