Abstract: This paper explores the influence of critical reviews on cinema consumption through a literature review. It begins with a discussion about critical reviews and individual differences in reviews' consultation. I then tackle the question of the influence of reviews on choices and suggest that several variables related to the films and reviews moderate this impact. Lastly, I indicate past research's limits and many avenues for future research.
