Abstract:
Employment in public sector and functions of public interest: what can we learn from international comparisons? Florence Audier and Maya Bacache-Beauvallet ABSTRACT: Is there any convergence between OECD countries concerning public employment? To address this issue we lack appropriate data. Hence we distinguish between public employment (as defined by OCDE data, mainly employees paid by public resources) and functions of public interest, that is administration, education and health, whereas employees are public or not.
