Abstract:
In Latin America solidarity-based economy is readily presented as a model of development alternative to "neoliberalism". An institutionalist approach based on the forms of integration of the economy and on the systems of justification allows discussing this claim. The case of Bolivia suggests that the institutionalization of solidarity-based economy is incomplete and must be extended to the political sphere in order to avoid homogenization in market logics.
